5 Natural Home Remedies For Ganglion Cysts!
A ganglion cyst is actually a rather small, encircling lump or bag full of thick and sticky fluid. The ganglion cyst most commonly appears in the tendons or joints, and it can have various sizes, from very small to one inch in diameter. The ganglion cysts most often occur in the tendons and joints situated in the fingers, wrists, ankles and the soles of the feet.
Ganglion Cysts Symptoms
The most common symptoms of ganglion cysts are pain and discomfort accompanied by burning sensation and itchiness, muscle cramps and numbness in the affected area. These cysts can be either firm or soft, depending on their size. It is not yet known why these cysts appear, but there are some assumptions that exist among experts who say that injuries and tendon irritation can lead to the occurrence of these unpleasant cysts. People aged between fifteen and forty have been proven to be more liable to these cysts, especially women (gymnasts in particular), as they provide constant stress to their wrists. People who suffer from osteoarthritis and people who have undergone some kind of tendon or joint trauma are also more susceptible to this problem. We need to say that there are some ganglion cysts that can be treated with regular pharmaceutical medications and home remedies, but there are some cases where surgical removal is the only logical and permanent solution.
